Michigan Senate resolution urges speedy organization of gray wolf hunting and trapping season.

If the wolf issue is left solely to wolf advocates, there will never be a management program in affect ! This issue should be left to the DNR, and or, wildlife management to handle. The bias of advocates will never allow them to look at the entire picture In order to understand a top of the food chain predator will not stop reproducing as long as food is available to feed the pack. If left totally to advocates, at what point would they step in and curb a/the problem ??

The Michigan government has had the same opportunity to open hunting as Wisconsin, Michigan has drug their feet much like Wisconsin DNR did. The difference was a Wisconsin sportsman group filed suit immediately to open a season as the states data reflected a want\need a judge forced the Wisconsin DNR at react by Feb 28th. They did most successfully. Michigan and Minnesota sportsman's group need to do the same.
