Almost pulled the trigger, about 26" wide, good fronts, high but weak rears, but just not quite there....

Hunting rims is a good time.

Had constant feathered company.....

Figured I bring a couple home for enchiladas and fajitas.

Public land bulls out here are pressured as well as tough - these two were both shot multiple times with various 6.5 Grendels and various other interesting calibers

The pilot waved to me on this overpass.

This mountain lion wasn't shy about walking down a USFS road.

A minus 15 windchill, a beautiful morning to be hunting public land deer. Sharptails were arguing amongst themselves below me and flights of geese were noisily passing through the cloud cover overhead. Maybe next year that buck will "be worthy"................
