New WA Game Plan Asks WDFW To Consider Moving Bear Season To Avoid Wildlife Viewer Conflicts

The purpose is to “prevent confrontations.” Have there been confrontations? I don’t know of anything. Aren’t these multi-use lands? Does hunting season imply that no one else gets to be on the land?

This would reinforce the divide between people. We must cooperate and not compete.

When we lived in Western WA, I used to check the All Trails app to see if people had reported bears close to hiking trails.
