Annual pheasant kill

Well I'll be leaving in about 20 minutes for our annual pheasant kill---yes this isn't a hunt it's a kill--we plant 250 birds(tomorrow) and then blast the 'ell out of them--or we try--seems hangovers take their toll on the brain cells so a few birds escape unscathed--but it's fun to see the guys and shoot the crap before and after we shoot some birds---chris

Unfortunately, my annual pheasant kill this year is one. So far. Wilder than hell, though, and at least three years old.

IT- I have it on good faith that pheasants are doing pretty good over in the Rupert or Buhl areas!

well I just got back and we smacked 141 out of 250- 19 hunters---quite of few flew out of bounds when we released them--maybe 40-50 and of course there were the misses(bullet proof birds and hangover aim)--this was the worst year we've had, but we hunted a new smaller place(lost lease) and this made it easier for the birds to cross the boundary--still was a blast--chris
