Adak Island ? ?

I am thinking of trying to put a caribou hunt together on Adak for summer of 2012. Anyone ever been? Any suggestions, particulars I might need to know thats not readily available? Thanks!!

There are a lot better places to hunt caribou in Alaska than Adak. I've got a friend that's done that hunt 3 times and has come home with nothing but 2 dink caribou. And contrary to popular belief, unless you live there, that is not a cheap hunt.

Headed their to hunt ducks in January, contemplating a bou hunt at some point as well. It isn't the same as it once was thought from what I understand.
