It's a general unit . I'm sure everyone knows about it but probably hunts else where cuz there very few elk here and mostly on private . Honestly all I wanted to know was if anyone had any luck here . What a shit show this site has become .

I don't think you did the guy at Cabelas any favors this week. Not baggin on you but maybe a quick call to the local FWP office would have kept it more private for you and the other locals that know about it.

No worries. I didn't know that little nugget before, but I doubt I'd make a special trip over there anyway. If it's anything like 704 and 705 it takes a good bit of luck to catch the elk on public anyway.

Seems alot of guys on here hunt 701,lol.Boy did you make them all mad.I will say when I saw bulls over there it was all on private ranches I had access to from my friends that live there.They live there and prefer the Crazy Mts over 701 so that should say something,for archery anyways
