Hodgden website has load data for the 160 nosler partion listed as 66grains max load traveling at 2839 fps. That seems low to me. Does anyone have some h1000 data to share? and whats your max load? thanks

Might H1000 be a touch slow? Nosler’s data has the 160gr. Partition up past 3000fps with some faster burning powders.

Ditch the 1000. Get some RL-22 if you can find it. mtmuley

I shoot 69 grs of H1000 with 168 bergers but partitions have a lot more bearing surface. You’re gonna hit pressure way before 3k. Staball hd should get you up around 3k and will be way cleaner and temp stable compared to RL powders that are essentially unicorns anyway.

VV burns throats. Or so they say. mtmuley
The only Vihtavouri powders that I have heard having an issue with burning the throat is the 5 series of powders which are double base and only from match shooters that put over 1,000 rounds down range in a year.

As for @johnnybow question.
I've found Hodgdon's load data to be a little slow.
Nosler's load data is more engineered fiction.

Ok, i found some h 4350. anyone have good luck using that with 160 accubonds?

Here's h1000 in a 26" rem 700 7rm pushing a 162 gr eldx

And here's the same bullet and gun with 8133.

I wasn't impressed with h1000. Group sizes are outsides of holes, not cheating measuring to the middles
