270 Win Hammer Bullets load data

There is a very comprehensive, up to date list of hammer load data over on the long range hunting site

Looking at Nosler load data, I’d start with H4831 or H4350
I’ve been on the hunt for H4350 to no avail. I have some IMR4831 and was thinking of starting at 55gr. Does that seem reasonable? I’m very green at reloading so any thoughts are very appreciated.

Works great with the 117's. I have no doubt it would work with the 124. RL-19 would also. IMR 4831 will work also. I have been trying to find my data. mtmuley

I haven’t used IMR 4831, but I believe it’s a fair bit faster burning than H4831. I would probably start lower.

I've been working up a load with the 124 HH's. Not the most popular powder, but I've found a good combo with the following:

Browning X-Bolt Pro 1-10 twist
Norma URP 59.6gr @ 3330 fps
Hornady brass
CCI 200 primer
.020 off lands
60.8 gr is where I found pressure

Sub 1 inch from a rifle that I have been considering throwing a new barrel on because it's just awful. Very disappointed in Browning.

Tried Reloder 19 but no where near the velocity I wanted before running into compressed loads. I would definitely stick with that 4350 burn rate.
