.257 Weatherby

Took new rifle out for test run yesterday and so far am impressed.
I've got it set up 3" high at 100 yards, at 300 it's zeroed, then 350 it is -3.5". That was as far as I've shot so far.
Intend to set up targets all the way out to 500 yd to get to know where it's hitting.

At the same time was shooting my buddies plastic Ruger American .308 which is much lighter weight, shorter barrel, etc.
Much easier to keep the heavier wood rifle on target, and recoil is tamer. I think the stock design also makes a significant difference here.
