This is what the aftermath of hosting 20+ guys for deer camp for 4.5 days looks like. 4 new cases of Busch light, a box modelo, old style and miller high life, 2 things of scotch I’ve never heard of, 18 eggs, pancake mix, 4 unopened containers of salsa, cocktail weinies, onions, butter, cheese, bread, buns, chips and Tupperware! I have had guys’ wives knock on my door a week after deer season and ask where their Tupperware is.

We used to drink a lot of it at Wrigley when I was younger. It’s not bad if you start with it, but if you have a few buds or coors first and than an old style, it kind of tasted like it had been strained though a dish rag. But I also drank a fair amount of special export when I lived in Chicago, which isn’t good by any means.

Embarrassed to say being from northern il. I have never tried an old style. Growing up my old man, uncles and everyone else drank it. But then I guess they changed the recipe and it really died out around here before I was close to drinking age.

But I also drank a fair amount of special export when I lived in Chicago, which isn’t good by any means.

The only beer I could get my hands on in high school was Special Export Light. It tasted bad back then, I can’t imagine what it tastes like now.

I have drank a few old style and old milwaukees. These days Im not going to run and grab a sixer if I had a choice.

I was trying to think of a pleasant way to make a joke about not drinking old style because that’s what they drink at Wrigley field, but I failed in all attempts.

I like old style. I had a bro in law bring it down from chicago when he came for holidays. We can get it now in southern illinois. A little surprised you can get it in iowa.

Humble brag… every year some of us butch about people who mostly stand and don’t do their fair share of pushing for whatever reason. On Sunday my 6 year old walked 2 pushes with me. Which would have totaled close to 3.5 miles without one complaint or me having to wait for him.

I remember those guys from back in the day. Usually had a bad knee. Unless the best place to post up was a long walk uphill watch em take off like a rocket for that spot.
