25-06 for Varmites?

I just loaded up bout 40 round of 25-06 with 75 grain HP. I'm using 50 gr of IMR 4064 with WLR primers in WW cases. Book says it will be about 3500 FPS. I'm hopin' it will be accurate enough for gophers.

Since I'm not a varmiter, what else would this load be good for besides the local cat population?

Just about anything short of deer and antelope - bobcat, coyote, badger, rock chucks, etc.

I have and still do use my 25-06 for varmints now and then. I mostly use it for deer (120 grn Nosler's) and Coyotes using 100 grain bullets. On the pesky critters, I drop down to a 70 grainer, about the same effects as a 1/4 stick of 60% Nitro.
