243 velocities?

I’m loading 75gr Speer Varminter bullets behind 41.5gr of H4895 for my 18” barreled AR10. The chrony averages 3345. Is that decent for a 75gr bullet or can I bump it up to 42gr safely in a (full) semi auto?

What does your reloading manual(s) say? What kind of pressure signs?

That velocity is about what you can expect for a 75gr out of an 18" barrel.

However I suggest learning to read pressure signs to guide your load development as there is a lot more to it than observing velocity. If you don't learn to read pressure signs then you'd be smart to stick to what the reloading manual states.
