A buddy has been trying to find a Tikka T3 Hunter (right hand) in 223 but cannot find one anywhere. Their online spec sheet shows they have the T3 Hunter chambered in 223, but he sure hasn't found one. As he puts it, he is one of those old guys who likes wood. So no polymer stock for him.
Does Tikka still market the 223? Know where you might locate one?
What other options might you suggest in a simlar price range, quality and accuracy out of the box? CZ 527 possibly? He would love to have a SAKO, but can't justify the extra $.
