Amazing game! I was hoping the non call against the US for too many men on the ice wouldn't be the story. In the end Canada had plenty of chances.

Annoying nonetheless. In a game like this, every bad call can change the outcome and they did miss quite a few... on both sides.

You would think thatafter an 8v5 man on the ice against Slovakia, the refs would be a little more dilligent with their calls.

What a game. As an Avs guy, it's SO hard to root against my 3 favorite players, but the whole game was electric.

With any luck, your three favorite players on this team will be playing my favorite three players for the chance to play in the Stanley final.

No surprise that those guys from the Avs and Wild play for the top two teams by record in the NHL right now.

Every American hockey fan should be saying the name of Conor Hellebuyck. He was the MVP of that game.

Based on the momentum and control of the game that was not the outcome I expected. It was the outcome I was hoping for but it sure looked like Canada was going to win that one.

Absolutely! Conor kept the team in the game. Canada had roughly twice the shots on goal! Canada was dominating in the game.

I watched 1980 live and I have similar patriotic feelings (except I don’t hate Canada)!

As a Wild fan, I hope that’s the Toews, makar, and Nate we see for the rest of the season! Boldy walking them for goal 1, Cale’s bad pinch and back check on game winner, Nate missing an open net and soft as charmin on the puck he could have retrieved before Werenski got it for the game winner.. seriously, did Nate throw the game? Guy must feel awful.

Edit: also- wtf was Mackinnon doing when Mathews got the breakout pass to boldy for his goal? He was in perfect position to take the puck and he didn’t even put his stick on the ice?
