I did as well. Is it just me or does Barr look like someone you’d see getting arrested in a trailer park on a episode of COPS?

I just realized they are keeping scores like those wrestlers are your team. I am in a tie for 6th but I’m only 2 points out of the lead. There are 3 with 35.5, 2 with 34 and 2 of us have 33.5. I have 19 advancement points which is the most with 9 guys in the quarters. I only had 14.5 bonus points.

Man, he’s got a “next level” gear or mentality about him. How many D1 guys can feel comfortable losing by 7 to other high level wrestlers, then come back and win like he does??? I put him at 9 points for that reason.

We had a middle school dual last night, so I'm watching round 2 now. Looked like Davis started screaming to his Penn St. coaches at the end of his match with Hardy because they didn't throw a brick. Wonder what was said?

I spent a little bit of time reading through the comments on Penn State Facebook pages last night. It is amazing how fans will even turn on their own when the chips dont fall the way they think. I understand the coaches not throwing a challenge, I think they only get 3 for the whole tournament, but many of the fans were saying Davis isn't good enough to deserve a brick and even worse stuff about the young wrestler.
This is not meant to be a slight to Penn State Fans. Iowa fans are some of the worst at bashing their own team on social media.

Gellar is right. They only get 3 challenges and they have a whole bunch of important matches to go. That call/no call wasn’t going to change the outcome of the match. Davis started out super strong in that match, but didn’t adjust at all as the match went on. He’s a competitor with a fiery demeanor.

Antrell Taylor’s hands to head is ridiculous. They let him turn it into a boxing match when neutral. It’s ridiculous to watch

I know by the rules that was not a takedown for Ferrari at 184 but how is that not control when he has a leg hooked and Mcenelly is bellied out.

I had to rewatch the semi's again. Crazy wrestling and great scrambles. Geller... not looking good right now. What's your team score on the other contest? I'm just surprised I put Trumble so high... especially after watching Bastida- that guy is an animal.

That Vega kid looks like a Smiley wet noodle, but like Forrest, he’s most comfortable in uncomfortable situations. The same can’t be said for Shane VanNess

Great finals. 133 felt like Davino was on defense to minimize the damage the whole match and didn’t show much offense. Maybe that’s a good thing; Forrest is a freak like I’ve never seen. 125 has to be the worst final match I’ve ever seen. Judging by the history between the 2, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. That Princeton kid got exactly what he had coming on that one. HWT was good; Trumble wrestled smart. This tournament is like Christmas for me, I feel empty and hate when it’s over.
