2026 Colo Sheep/goat draw results and mentoring of new tag holders!

Got my mountain goat unsuccessful email. Have 2 point charges on the credit card so think one of those is for my son for sheep. I did Desert this year since I had a tag last year.

I really love hunting ewes, but this is an either sex goat tag in a unit that I was able to get one in 2006 as a Midwestern kid with a dream. I'm really excited to get back there.
That's about as good as it gets. Post up a few pictures for all the suckers on here who can't even draw once!

I'm definitely blessed and lucky. I drew as a NR at age 22 with 3-0 or 3-1. I happened to be in my first year at grad school that summer in Colorado so I got to scout a good amount...after the waiting period I was 3-10.

I'll post pics for sure, hopefully of a blood-stained goat.

Registration for June 20th Meet & Greet is now open!!

Sign up as a new tag holder and/or to attend and mentor the new tag holders here.

Very important to get signed up in advance so we have the info on units drawn and/or units you are familiar with. We go to great lengths to ensure we have experienced mentors to help tag holders for each and every hunt unit. We also put effort into matching up new tag holders with the mentors who have ‘been there/done’ that so y’all can meet up and chat about scouting and hunt strategies, access points, etc. With a crowd of well over 300 folks in attendance we even print up name badges with your info on it!

Hunters Helping Hunters! It IS a beautiful sight to behold. Each year lasting new friendships are made. And pretty sure the hunt mentors who attend have even more fun than the tag holders as they get to relive the glory and excitement of past sheep and goat hunts.
