2026 college football šŸˆ thread , cuz @jimh406 said so …………

I think this NIL thing is really changing the face of ā€œcollegeā€ football.
Consider the state of Florida for example.
I read that Miami spent approximately 50 million this offseason, Florida 28 million, and FSU I believe 24 million.
And then, look at how they match up.

I think when you ask about Wisconsin, you have to ask how much they’re able to spend. I believe at this time, it is where the money is at.
You have college players now going to the NFL, and taking pay cuts.
Not to mention that if you don’t make the NFL team, now you may be able to come back to college?!

Don't forget sports betting. Kind of erodes the integrity of the sport, at least what's left of it, which is not much.

I don't care for the arbitrary and corrupt organization that is the NCAA, but there has to be some sort of regulation. Now you have SEC schools considering just paying the fines to do whatever they want because at the end of the day, whatever b.s the NCAA tries to enforce just ends up being toilet paper $.
