For what a black badger lolIt was realllllly bad. Said he misjudged it.
Trying to decide if I would have shot this bear. Not big but a boar I am guessing?

I’m not convinced either of the last two of the posts above are boars.View attachment 407973View attachment 407974View attachment 407975
I Set my bait April 27th here in Wyoming. I went back for the second time a week later to rebait. This big boar had hit the bait April 29th. Only got these night videos because he ripped my game cam off the tree (camera was in a security box screwed to the tree. I moved it higher.) Another blond bear sniffed my camera on the ground on May 2nd. With at least two bears hitting my bait I decided to sit with the rifle this past Thursday...

Its actually a video and he looks like a boar walking around. Big ol front end. Anyway, the one I shot is a confirmed boar. Balls still on the hide and I got his dick bone!I’m not convinced either of the last two of the posts above are boars.
Congrats! Thats a nice one. I still am not convinced on the video stills or the other image that they are boars, but they can be tricky. The dainty firearms and shape are not a positive confirmation. It’s actually a video and he looks like a boar walking around. Big ol front end. Anyway, the one I shot is a confirmed boar. Got to my site Thursday, rebaited, switched sim cards, and was sitting at 6:10 PM. Saw that a blonde boar with a hurt back leg had been using the bait the night before, maybe the same bear that sniffed my camera previously. was sitting for just over an hour when I peaked over at the bait and this chocolate was sitting in front of it. His head looked enormous from 50 yards away so I got into the rifle and popped him! My first bear and I am pummped. I gutted him that night and came back with my buddy and his horses the next morning.

Friend of mine does that. Buckshot and slugs alternated. mtmuleyI like your buddy’s choice of bear protection.
