2026 bears

Although I always go start to finish every year and have since the late 80s, what my indicator is on when to go every day (I live in Bozeman), is when I have to mow my lawn.

Today is the earlier I’ve ever mowed my lawn since living in Bozeman since 1986.

I got a text a few minutes ago from the guy I usually hunt with..

I mowed my lawn here in Billings and two days later I had 5 inches of snow on it. I missed my windows to hunt the "close" bear hunt this spring. The unit always closes early but man felt super fast this year.

One could only dream! At the MWSF banquet this year 2 hunts for bears on the rez went for $13k each (i would never pay that). There are some brutes over there.

Very nice boar! Let me know what kind of beer you like, id like to pick your brain on bears next time im in your neck if the woods. Though I avoid the area, so it my be a while.

Not new, but tastes change, ya never know. I like green as well, but it just usually doesnt come in a can.

Bear #9 dead on the highway this morning. Those are just the ones I've seen, they usually get picked up pretty quick around here. (Wisconsin highway 29 and interstate 94)
