Two years in a row shed hunters killed one. Maybe the bear huggers will try to ban shed hunting now.

If I remember number right our G&F (just wy) killed 33 grizzlies last year.

No same bear. Plan to bait tomorrow and then hunt next week when the wind is right. But though to start trying some different ideas as he seems to always know when I’m in the stand. When I’m not there he’s daylight often

Let’s get this rolling. We have been having an early spring in this part of Saskatchewan. Got one bait out today and had issues with my winch which made me turn around or I would have had my second out. We are actually supposed to get a pretty big blizzard Thursday Friday then start warming up again to around 40 starting April 1. Don’t put any scent out as I doubt it will hold up to 6” of snow we are predicted to get. I do have 5 kit beavers in one barrel that will get more and more stinky by the day. Hoping this guy returns for a third spring of chasing him.

If he’s watching you enter and leave, maybe have someone wearing your clothes come in to top off the bait, while you ninja approach from a different direction. Your friend finishes up and leaves, and his guard lets down and comes in…..BOOM!

Highly likely the hopzones and uneven ground and using a yardstick were impacting my numbers but I was really trying to be conservative. I 100% tagged my biggest bear tonight. Will never get a MT bear like this again- that I’m sure of.
