Was this in 16B? I packed in from Aeroplane Mesa and our group didnt hear any bugleing, no fresh poop, only saw 1 elk, September 1st, Is the second hunt better or another part of the Gila Wilderness better Lilley Park zilch

No I was in a different unit over there. I had second hunt

Nice bull, nice euro, and great story. Many years ago had a bull at about 15' bugling at us as we were sitting on the ground, pretty intense.
