This hunting season has been one of the best for me! Not because of animals harvested or "trophy" animals tagged. Actually I have killed less and not as big as previous year's. This year I have enjoyed every single minute in the outdoors....even when sick up in the mountains! I spent 2nd season in CO with SFC Born, CPO, Cushman, and some new folks from WI. Was able to help.on a young mans first elk. Came back to Indiana and had a good time with SFC Born and spent a action packed morning with him in the deer blind. He left and CPO came for a week, he didn't tag out but we had a great time. Casey with her new leg made it out and filled a tag, unfortunately she over did it and was in pain for a few days. Tomorrow Cushman will arrive and we will attempt to fill his tags with bow, muzzleloader, or both. Plan on some small game and coyote hunting with coworkers. Yep what a blessed hunting season it has been!
