What a wonderful morning with my son, Dad, and Uncle. My son was able to kill his first duck, a hen wigeon, and the rest of us got plenty of shooting!!

First goose:



He made a great shot! A line of geese centered up our blind. I told him to pick the fourth bird in from the left side, he came out of the blind gun-a-blazing!

For the 2022-2023 waterfowl season, Utah upped the daily dark goose limit to five per person. We are happy to have liberal limits!

Yesterday 11-4-22 Freezeout in central Montana reported 70,000 snow geese came in ahead of the storm. They will be there a short time due to sub freezing weather in the next couple of days.

I’m terribly jealous !! We have a 30 Canada Goose season with a daily limit of ONE goose. I haven’t even brought my gear out of the barn.
