I guess now is not too late to plan on 2010 in NM. I'm hoping to bring at least 2 of my sons with me on this hunt (16 & 18) and I would prefer to stay between Clayton and Cimmaron, with emphasis between Capulin and Raton.
I've a friend who is a landowner south of Capulin so...as a landowner (he grew up there) can he get licenses for people who hunt on his land by registering with the state?
Also, I've plans to scoot out around April-May and June-July (500 miles from home) to scope out areas to hunt.
So...any help with public lands, licensing, etc. would be appreciated.
