2009 Jeep Liberty

My buddy loved his jeep liberty. Its near that millage (100k-130k) where you will likely need to fix something semi major soon ($1,000-$2,000). Just my experience with vehicles, they tend to have some problems around the mileage I mentioned above.
 
Nah!! My understanding is the cylinder heads on these vehicles are no longing available new and are very difficult to rebuild at best. as long as you have no engine mechanical issues you should be good. BUT, I see ALOT of them on craigslist being sold as salvage/ parts because the engine went and only way to fix is a complete engine. Just my opinion and understanding though. ( I am in the auto repair business )

If you want a jeep try to find a Grand Cherokee, best one with a 4.0L 6 cylinder but that would be an older model but more reliable and cheaper to repair.
