165 gr. 30-06. Partition or TTSX Do-All Bullet?

Thanks for the replies everyone. I think I'm going the Partition route. If I ever get that wild boar trip planned with my uncle-in-law in California, I'll try some TTSXs.

You'll need copper if your hunting hogs in CA,at least were I used to hunt. That's how I looked into the Barnes. Couldn't shoot my Partitions anymore. Lead.

Any pet loads using IMR4350/165 gr Partition anyone like to share? I'm thinking of starting at 56.0 and working up. I've read 57.0 is the sweet spot.

If you can get it, I'd suggest the H version of 4350. Being in the "Extreme" line of powders it is formulated to be less sensitive to temperature. Some reports I've read are corroborating that for the 30-06.

FWIW, I use 52gr of R15 now. I used 57gr of IMR 4350 (max as listed by Nosler) previously. I may be giving up a few fps, but I do know it recoils noticeably less.
