Thats an extremely fair price for the skull imo. Lots of cheaper guys out there. Get what you pay for. As you know.

For that price you and boy could do cow elk hunts in WY. Buy yourself a tanning kit and have your kid brain tan it. Ive did coons, bobcats, and deer its not that difficult.

My step son's first deer was a whitetail doe. I skinned it and had the hide tanned for him. I already told him and he was excited about it. (Cost about 4x what i had in my mind when we got there) bout fell over.

I would spend that in hotels and fuel. I did the math on our trip. $.40 a mile with the suburban. Michigan average for 87 was 4.90 a gallon on this trip.

A buddy sent his hide to this place for a soft tan. Came out great and I think it was under $400 by the time he paid shipping and all.
