My 4 year old and I got it done first weekend of the season in SD right as the always present SD winds started whipping. It was a fun boys trip with lots of birds running around. Now just got to find a bird here in CO
I’ve seen one whole turkey hunting around the grand Mesa this year. I know more are around my family’s place in Granby due to seeing sign etc. I can’t say I go out looking though. Usually see them while riding 4wheelers around
Headed to see the family in Iowa for Thanksgiving and to do some pheasant hunting. Day 1 we had three limits in a little over four hours and then on Day 2 we brought the kids out for a couple hours and ended up with 4 birds. Always fun to watch the dog work and get some exercise before indulging...
Have beaver that has relocated itself onto my families stretch of river after the upstream neighbors pulled out his dam and allowed it to drift down stream. Is destroying the dam itself enough for the beaver to move along or, is termination the best option here?

A pretty large portion of unit 18 is closed due to East troublesome fire. Praying for some rain and snow to help with the fire fighting effort.
My family’s place has plenty of beavers, they do make a mess of things for the ranchers down stream. Father-in-law had one try to chase him out of a beaver pond on Grand Mesa. He ended up smacking the thing across the head with his fly rod
I was ten and my dad was flying home from a work trip from LA to Denver. We watched the news and class and we all go sent home early. My dad's flight was redirected to NM, this was before he had a cellphone, so the anxiety of not knowing if he was ok was something that I don't think I will...
I sent them an email asking if you can turn their universal bino holster into just a chest rig for when binos are not in use. Will post here with what they say.
