Turkey Hunting Bozeman, MT
Any turkeys I ever found were on the private along the rivers near Bozeman, so you would have to ask. I always hunted state land and got some private permission between Big Timber and Billings. I would focus more out east and scout public lands close to creeks and rivers.- Ryan2388

Colorado Mule Deer question
Best way is to contact the area office and talk the area biologist and DWM. Those units are easy to draw with lots of hunters. I have only seen average bucks and nothing ever super big. -

Putnam County IL Deer Hunt!
I have a second season muzzleloader licenses for buck and doe. I wish I could hunt first, but that is for residents only I thought. I have always seen at least a few nice bucks, and I did get my last buck during second season. Your right cold weather and snow really make a difference on movement! -

Thank you for the information. I also kayaked to Forsyth a couple of times for school and camped out on the public islands on the river. Some nice bucks I saw on them. I always wanted to do a hunting trip like that as well on the Yellowstone River. A very underrated hunt in Montana I think.
