My Icon Pro 1850 is the best pack I've ever owned. Then again, I'm a flatlander whitetail guy. I'm not hauling elk quarters miles in the mountains. For super heavy duty that's on another level, it's Kifaru or Exo.

I've never been to war nor have I served, so I can't begin to say, "I understand" or anything close to it. But from what little I know of you, you seem to be living your life in a way your friends (living and fallen) would deem worthy. Thanks for your service.

So I'm traveling for work and stop off at the Bass Pro Shops in Spanish Fort Alabama. I wander over to the archery section like I normally do and see a "bow tech" working on someone's bow trying to tie in a peep sight. After watching her struggle for a good 10 to 15 minutes while she tried to...
Really sucks. If you happen to run into them, I'd mention something in passing like you were on that herd too and you witnessed their "stalk", just to clue them in. Maybe they didn't see you. But I'd never angrily confront someone hunting. Sorry, but I never trust the temperament or mindset of...
I have the Uncompahgre and love it. Wouldn't be without it. But for really really cold late season non-active whitetail sits (like end of December) I need something more. I know the Sanctuary is a much warmer coat specifically designed for this, but the near $400 price tag really stings. Anyone...
