    Has anyone shot the traditions ultra light 50 cal 26 inch barrel. It is the pursuit. I was going to buy a Thompson but my buddy has one in the box with scope for 250. I just want a dependable gun out to 200 yards. I had a nightmare with cva optima.

    new gun keeps misfiring

    Thanks for the info guys. I also wanted to mention along with the shockey powder pellets I am using Thompson Shock Wave Sabots and triple seven 209 primers. I think I will use the 777 powder pellats. Do you guys reccomend 100 or 150 for white tail?

    Hey guys I just purchased a cva optima 50 cal, and the weapon keeps misfiring. Everything is clean on the weapon but it is extremely incosistent. I am using Jim Shockey powder p. Has anyone ever experienced issues with his products? Or do you think it is something else?? Thanks

    twin peaks texas white tail

    I believe he is only a four year old. I am guessing he is going to be upper 160s this year. It is going to take alot of restraint, but I am going to hold off on him this year. He will be something special if he makes it through the season.
