    I've hunted 43 and 39. I LOVE mule deer and the big ones are those that count. I use 3 llamas......if I could just take 22 days off, I'd love to take you up on it. NUTS!!

    Genetics question

    The only thing to be gained as the deer grows older is his ability to dominate the lesser deer (therefor having MORE opportunity to pass his genes) and the fact that more breeding seasons will provide more opportunity. The genes NEVER change. I've always known how actually silly that premise is.

    Son-in-laws 1st buck

    CJ, I was more "farsighted". I set my daughter up on a blind date with someone I had met when he was 14. Way back then, he wanted to know how to hunt big deer. They got married. I got a ready-made hunting partner, who actually know what he's doing. He can even shoot pretty good.
