HER DIARY:
Tonight: I thought my husband was acting weird. We had
made plans to meet at a bar to have a drink. I was shopping with my friends
all day long, so I thought he was upset at the fact that I was a bit late,
but he made no comment on it. Conversation wasn't flowing, so I suggested...
Thanks guys.
That tongue was sticking out just for you Moosie! Just kidding. It was actually hanging out the other side and I thought I put it back in his mouth for the pictures. I guess I pushed it too far, oh well.
We both had great stalks and were able to make good shots at 30 yards...
My dad and his buddy found this bull on Wednesday before the Idaho unit 39 opener. Unfortuneatly, they haven't been able to find him again but aren't heading home until Tuesday.
It looks like barb wire to me..

A quick story on how I killed my bull…
It was Thursday, September 27th. Mike and I left Boise around 2pm and arrived at our destination around 5:30pm. We unhooked the trailer, leveled it, changed into our hunting gear and hit the road. The radio was on 670am and Paul J. was broadcasting the...

Persistance pays off, again! After many days on the mountain, the challenge of learning a new zone, overcoming the heat, rain and forrest fires, we were able to put down two 5x5's..
A big thanks to my buddy Mike who called in my bull to 18 yards! He stuck his bull at 10 yards through the...

Thanks guys. It was an awesome hunt. All credit goes to my buddy Mike who found this spring years ago. We made a quick trip down on the 5th and built the blind. The dry summer also contributed to our quick success. We saw about 25-30 goats before 10:30 and many more on their way in before...

It was a tough hunt. We sat for at least 30 minutes without seeing a goat. :)
Both bucks were down and in the truck before noon..
Can't wait for next year!
A few from the blind...

Yes he is an Idaho bull and was taken in the McCall zone. This was my favorite picture because it does make him look a lot bigger. The funny thing is that the log I used to prop the rack up with was a ground cover for a hornets nest. Yep, they nailed me! But, the picture was worth it. He...
