Norma Bondstrike Ammo?
I used Bondstrike bullets exclusively this past fall with great accuracy out of handloads in 6.5 prc. I will say that my experience is that it is a bonded bullet but does shed weight on impact with approximately 60% weight retained for shots within 200 yards. I took an elk, pronghorn, mule deer... -

One month in and I’m down to 216. 13 lbs in a month is not sustainable but I definitely like the progress. It just tells me my fall hunting diet is really bad.- dcreiss

Black Hills Buck
I think that is a really good Hills deer. I harvested a small 5x4 out there two weeks ago and saw almost exclusively small deer. Nicely done! -

I was able to tag a pretty decent mule deer buck today at the family ranch. A darn good couple of days. -

I was able to arrow this guy on Halloween evening and recovered yesterday morning. Having my son out for the recovery was the best part, SD archery only public area. -

They could commit to aerial surveys, but won’t. They have a decent idea of rough numbers I think and really rely depredation claims/ sharing information with tribal game and fish agencies west river. -

Runnings in Pierre is able to do basic bow set up and tuning. If you want to get really into the weeds on tuning I recommend heading to RC to Black Hills Archery. Runnings has a bow press and can get you hunting and shooting in town.- dcreiss

Sell Me On A Case Trimmer
I use a Lee quick trim for 243, 30-06, 7-HT, 6.5 PRC, and 300WSM. I am pretty simple and enjoy the hands on processing in the press.- dcreiss

2025 South Dakota Deer Draw
In our hunting group we have a Unit 2 cow tag (wife), 2 BH whitetail tags (myself and friend), and we get tribal deer tags for our ranch. Very busy fall.- dcreiss
