High Wind Damage
We had a large Ponderosa pine blow over onto the house. Shattered 3 rafters and now we can sleep under the stars. Been trying to find people to remove the tree and a contractor to seal the roof. Looks like they will start in the morning. The forecast says possibly 1 to 3 inches of snow tomorrow...- Dan O

I agree with buying the Burris 2x7 over the Leupold. Burris can repair or replace the 2x7 whereas Leupold has discontinued all handgun scopes. Reduction in number of NR deer licenses
The article also said resident's extra deer tags go from 8 possible to 3 tags. That's also a good move. I would like to see no doe tags for a year or two and see if that would help the mule deer populations. -

School Me on Hunting In Grizz Country
It's been above average temps in Montana this year. The bears will still be active now. Lincoln live in FB had a short video of a sow and two cubs still wandering around the Lincoln area. You will not ever have a problem with a bear until you do. Take your normal precautions.- Dan O

New to ML hunting
First thing for you to do is check the reg's in your state. See what is legal for the ML season. Then if you're going to hunt other states check their reg's as many are different. Sometimes the old way is a much more satisfying way. Plus a side lock is a pretty cool hunting tool.- Dan O

That's a possibility regarding rangefinders. I think it would average out with all the poor judgement with the guys shooting beyond their ability's because they know the range and try to dial it in disregarding the effects wind and weather has on the bullet. What are your highly educated opinions on tech in hunting?
This will not be accepted by many but lets put the hunting back into hunting. No electronics allowed including rangefinders.
