Great bull. Be proud of your wife for making a great shot and enjoy those back strap steaks. Horns are a bonus and those are a nice set of antlers. Thant bull would make a great euro mount.- Ghostrider

Cargo trailer feedback needed
I take my stock trailer loaded with quads and gear. i leave it camp and ride in everyday. You just have to use tour best judgment about the rough roads. Take your trailer, you'll be happy you did..... Dont forget to pack your trailer bearings- Ghostrider

When is 'old' too old?
My dad is 77 years old and is still gettin around the mountains pretty well. he's not as fast as he used to be but his eyes are still pretty sharp and his years of experanice are priceless. He walks alot and ride his staionary bike in the garage. Just know your limits and pack around some Advil...- Ghostrider

Keep the plan you have. I'm a nonresident hunter who has been goin to colorado for the part 10 years. Take your 4x4 with your chains and a high lift jack. never know where the roads will lead you to you hunting grounds.Find you maps and pick a unit . then call the biologist and the local game warden and ask them what the heard looks like.- Ghostrider

I would have to agree with the rest of the guys. The other thing that might be goin on is he is trying to anticipate the shot and is leaning into the rifle just before it goes off. Just a thought- Ghostrider

Colorado 2013
to bad about the lack of elk. We ran into the same problem but were lucky enough to take down 2 bulls the day before we left for home.Plenty of shooter bucks but no buck tags. The thing about all the sheds you guys found tells me that you guys were in some country that not to many folks hunted...- Ghostrider
