Grilling Bear Steaks?
Bear meat can be really good, I've never had any that didn't taste good. The fat is not like antelope, deer or elk. The fat melts at a low temp and doesn't seem to cause a "gamey" taste that some find objectional. BUT ALWAYS COOK IT WELL DONE! DO NOT MAKE BEAR JERKY UNLESS IT IS COOKED...- camo308

Bear meat
StrutNut is right, you have to cook it well done to kill any of the un-suspecting buggies. I've shot two bears, one on a 95 degree day and I couldn't cool it as fast as I'd like, and both have been excellent to eat. I have also had bear from several friends and it's all been really good.
