    remington fire in southeast montana

    i hunted down that way several years ago south between ashland and the wyoming border. i was just wondering if anyone has been down in that country this past hunting season? ive seen burn maps but not sure how accurate they are. wondering about how much of the national forest burned, blm, etc.

    Thanks. I don’t get to go near as often as years ago. Drawing most any tag has gotten a lot harder out west thanks to the internet. Just thankful to have a tag to enjoy that atmosphere for a few days this fall.

    I think the tag increase had a lot to do with it. the antelope unit I put in for last year had roughly 500 apps in the NR reg and about 200 in the NR sp. this year it the percentage swung big time toward the regular tag. sadly my dad and I missed out by .5 points of drawing
