The worst part of turkey hunting is the days are getting long enough, you are out early and stay late. If you score early in the morning, it is always best.

He is a real nice kid, his dad isn’t a hunter. He was just the type you want to share hunting with. Showing restraint is still hard to do, as I still hunt because I want to get turkeys myself.

If it had been a grouse, he would never had a chance…
