Yesterday was interesting.....

This week had been draggin along awfully slow but yesterday things perked right up. First thing in the morning I got a phone call on my cell from a number in slippery Rock, PA. I had been working on a new job with another Federal agency and this was "the" call I had been waiting on. As of July I will be working as a background/security clearance investigator (Special Agent) with the NBIB! I will have a 5 week academy in PA and then back to work here in the Springs. I will be working out of the house as well Seems like it will be fulfilling work making sure folks clearances get processed in a timely and accurate manner. To end the day I was sitting around the house when I got the CPW email verifying that I had drawn the PL antelope tag I put in for this year and will be chasing a buck in OCT. Add a dinner of some pretty good Mexican food and not a bad day in the end. After work today I am headed to Harbor Freight to get some goodies for Doug!!!

Congrats ! I live 30 minutes from Slippery Rock, feel free to pm me if u need anything during your stay. There’s a good, local brewery in town with good food. Good hiking @ decent trout fishing to be had also.
