So this year I hunted blacktails from home and blacktails are a tricky challenge, As the saying goes with blacktails if you want a big blacktail you got a pass on the little buck but on the second hand , if you don’t take the little buck that might be the only buck you see all season. So with three days left of a 30 day season the first buck I saw was a small buck , 20 yards off a logging spur road. I didn’t pass up that easy pack out .
while I was throwing my baby buck in the back of the truck all my crew was in Montana putting 4x4 mulies on the ground. And then they couldn’t help but just tease and throw shade my way . and so the guys Got together and all pitched in and got me a hoodie for a Christmas gift and they dropped it off today and I’m in love with it best damn Christmas gift in years , had to share it with everyone on Hunt talk .
