So I'm putting in for my first hunt in calif since the 80's. Im looking at the X10 late season. Ive done some research and have some ideas. Is there someone out there who knows the migration route in late Oct/Nov?

I do. Hunted it.
Get a unit map & atlas. Find 395.
Orient map N/S ,and on west side you see a wall. Sierra Nevada Mtns . And on east side of hwy, sage desert.
The mountains are largest single chunk of granite/basalt known to man. 1000k mi long & 14k high.
Desert is 5-8k & mostly easy terrain.
Nice tag. Some great bucks.
End of what I know.....

Roger that. Appreciate it

I hunt D8 to the west every year and it runs at the same time as X10, there is no migration unless you get a BIG snow storm and unfortunately it's been a while since we've had one of those during the deer season. There are plenty of deer there but not in huge numbers or high success rates that's why there are typically leftover tags. Best of luck!
