Wyoming spring bear hunt distraction

Was out this weekend on a spring bear hunt by Ecampment, Wyoming. Was in an area where I had seen bear and bear sign but ended up getting distracted by bighorn sheep. Saw a group of two rams and then after relocating later that day found a band of 15 rams. Only way my day could have been better was if I was able to see a bear.IMG_20190527_211124_969.jpg20190525_100342.jpg20190525_181214.jpg20190525_181114.jpg20190525_090341.jpg

That is awesome! I have been wanting to start a Wyoming spring bear thread as it seemed like no one else on here was spring bear hunting in Wyoming except me! Good luck!

Weather has been rubbish until now. Will hit it hard over the next week or 2 and hopefully have success.

You did better than me. All I got distracted by during this weekends hike with a gun was mud.

It's fun to see them. I was hunting some state land in CO for deer a couple years ago and found some that wasn't supposed to be in that area. Pleasant surprise.

Any new snow form this last storm over there?
We have to go over to Saratoga for a branding on Saturday, wet, muddy corrals are no fun.

I was hoping that sheep area would be open this year.

Nice. I've seen some ewes by Woods Landing/Jelm before but haven't gotten a look at any nice rams yet.

No new snow through Sunday. I relocated further east for Monday and had my day cut short by fog.
