Wyoming area 121 antlerless

I am planning on hunting the last week of October around Casper with a cow tag & antelope tags. Because I have a bunch of vacation time to use up, I was thinking of picking up an area 121 full price antlerless elk tag to go learn another area. Anyone have any info about the area? Why so many tags left? I figure I already invested a bunch driving out from Jersey I may as well stay longer. I have hunted the Casper area before but not near Cody.

I don't know that area, but it has been my experience that a unit with a bunch of leftover tags probably holds most of its antlerless elk on private land with little chance for permission. I would get a map and see how much public you will have access to in that one.
