Well, hunting buddy had his days off denied for September so I gonna do solo hunts. Since I am within 25 miles of my hunt area it will be day hunts and travel from Cheyenne bright and early. Only issue is my back (osteoarthritis in the facet joints in the L4/L5 region) with no cartiledge in the joints. Going Sept 20th and first day goal is nice buck or 2.5+ mature doe. This makes long distance walking and heavy lifting tougher on top of like Randy, I am approaching senioritis at 69. After that anything with decent meat is fair game. Got a wagon so I can drag the goat out of the field withing too much back pain. Just for fun of it, I will do a live hunt thread when I start the hunt. Proof us old farts can still do it.
