Made it out for the first day of bird hunting, hens are legal in this unit so it made things a little easier. As usual I always take my grandfather's Wingmaster out instead of my newer, fancier shotguns. I love that gun and refuse to have it collect dust. My grandpa use to love to bird hunt and received that shotgun from my mother as a bday gift in 1976. She bought it new for him and it's knocked down it's share of birds, and will continue to do so as long as I'm able to hunt. He can't hunt anymore due to health reasons, but I can literally hear his smile on the phone each and every time I let him know that the old gun filled another daily limit. Saw lots of birds and very thankful that the state of Wyo puts so much effort into the bird habitat. Lots of hunting still to do but looking forward to hearing more roosters cackle and hearing this old wingmaster bark in Wyo, Kansas and South Dakota! Birds beware!
