WY bison draw results

Just got a call from a couple friends from Cheyenne...said the bison draw was out and I should check my results. They both drew 2,000 numbers...no bison in their futures.

I told Doug, "Stand back and watch while I show you guys how to draw into the 3000's" as I was typing in my results.

I tell you those guys are amateurs at best when it comes to drawings...I drew 3076...I bet not many more people than that even applied.

No bison in WY for me this year either.

I was 76 on the MT Bison cow alternate list last year. I didn't get called.

How many of those tags do they generally give out??

Are these bison totally free range, or are they wanderers off of Yellowstone? I guess what I am asking is would they be eligible for Boone and Crockett? I am assuming that even if they wander off of the Park, they are still considered free ranging?

I'm #325 as a non-resident... no bison in my future either.

I was number 1,7--. I didn't even knew more than 3,000 put in hahahahaha.

I checked the draw and was the lucky owner of number 887! There will be no buffalo buger this year maybe next year!
