I would be glad to replenish your black walnut. How much do you want?

How are your blades holding up?I picked up a really nice looking oak tree. The previous owner didn't tell me it was used as a target.View attachment 306005View attachment 306006View attachment 306007View attachment 306009View attachment 306008
I use a lot of my walnut cutoffs to make loading blocks of varying sizes for my own use and as gifts to friends. As the size of my scrap wood pile dwindles, so does the size of my projects. I can't take credit for the idea. Both blocks are sized to .30-30. Lid held by magnets. Thanks to this project I now have a set of metric drill bits....

I'm jealous of your logs. All I have is white pine and it can twist pretty badly.Had a few big logs that needed to be cut up. ~160 2x4's.

Beautiful work. I've done a few table tops but have trouble with the legs. Getting the right look and style is something I can't find.My own table, Russian olive top. Oak trim and base. Started with trees. I also made the china hutch.
They are very nice! Now I have another project on the "to build" list.I don’t have near the skills of most of you, but my Father has a bunch of woodworking tools so I decided to whip up some reloading blocks from random wood I had laying around, while visiting. I made the blocks cartridge specific, which I am very much looking forward to using on the bench.
