Wondering what you guys use as a rust preventative for your firearms

I use Birchwood Casey "Sheath". It is inexpensive, but puts a fine coat of oil-like preservative that protects even in the rain.

Sheath is now Barricade - new name.

I also forgot to mention that I store most of my guns in silicone treated socks (never in a gun case). Helps with rust and helps protect my guns from dings and dents in the safe which is getting too full and cluttered :p

Bull Frog tool wipes. We use it on bare steel tools and shear blades on our hyrdochloric pickle line for steel processing. Best stuff that we have ever tried. If it protects in that environment, it will work anywhere. Lasts a long time as well. Other guys that I know use car wax on their gun metal and it works pretty well too.
