Arizona woman dies after elk tramples her in backyard; first fatal attack reported in state

Its sad, but thats why we dont feed wild game or try to get close for pictures. A black bear killed a guy in AZ this year too (I think he was sleeping in a hammock).

I had an elk nearly kill me a few weeks ago.
Was packing him out. Brutal.

For real! They are soooo grumpy when you wake them up.

That little town has no hunting signs everywhere and elk and deer hanging out. I think feeding animals there is the norm.

Turns out elk aren’t the friendly critters we thought they were. They were hunted to near extinction for a reason! You see an elk you shoot, shovel, shut up.
